Shuffle Box Drill
Moving in an L shaped box we will replicate our motion after we field the ball. The shuffle box drill will help train the quickness of our feet as we move across the ground.

Back toe to front heel shuffle in an L shaped motion

Quick Release Drill
Our Quick Release Drill will help build body awareness as we move through our throwing motion. Our focus will primarily be on our feet and hands. Maintain posture and gain momentum throughout the shuffle.
Progression:

Barehand (focus on feet and hands only)

Towel (focus on whipping towel out front)

Glove/Ball (full throws back to partner as you receive the throw)

Quick Transfer Drill
Quick Transfer Drill will focus on minimizing the amount of time between catch and release of the baseball. Being able to catch and release the ball quickly while staying under control and making an accurate throw is very important across all of our infield plays.

No Pause (full transition from catch to release)
